ON FOOT from Portsmouth there
is either a Wightlink Fast Cat or from Southsea Hovertravel Hovercraft
service to Ryde, from there a train can be caught direct to Shanklin
station. The Salerooms are situated 50 yards from Shanklin Railway
Station. There is a Red Funnel hydrofoil service from Southampton to West Cowes from there transport by bus or car is
needed to Shanklin.
BY RAIL from London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour
then catamaran to Ryde and train to Shanklin Station.
Alternatively there are Red Funnel car ferries operating from Southampton
to East Cowes or Wightlink car ferries from Portsmouth
to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth.
